Night Time Sunset
After a long day hiking over mountains, seeing glaciers, petting horses, counting never ending pods of sheep we were welcomed back at our house with this amazing sunset. Though the sun never completely set while we were there, and this taken around 10pm or later, the night sky did get dark enough to make it seem like night. It was my first time being so far north in summer and experiencing this amount of day light it is no wonder people of these areas treasure summer so much. Makes me think that I could survive the winters here if I knew summer was right around the corner. Iceland Early August 2022
